Like a lot of people, I'd spent years thinking about starting a business of my own. Eventually I realized something: I didn't want to keep talking myself out of trying.

So Saltwater Tote Company started with an idea, a whole lot of research, and a stack of black-and-yellow totes.

I wanted to build a local business that solves a real problem and makes an already stressful experience just a little easier.

And that's exactly what we're doing—one move at a time.
